LOCATION

Eventually Herburbia® will lie just off the big bridge in Charleston, in the middle of the historic Cooper river, creating the new MOC (Middle of Cooper) area. This burgeoning and progressive neighborhood is part of an exciting city we call many names, like Charleston, Chucktown, C-Z Sleazy, or The Bricklayer. As with many new river communities, there is no land. So much of the ground must be filled in with dirt, probably from some Godforsaken wasteland in the Upstate.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, we have been able to secure most of phase one budgets. Our biggest hurdle has been the Board of Architecture Review, which requires a live sacrifice! Once we figure how that works, construction should commence, with a completion date in a matter of weeks. Our goal is for December of 2019 grand opening. Fingers crossed!
